Kaliningrad Airport plans to cooperate with Turkish Airlines

Kaliningrad Khrabrovo Airport is negotiating cooperation with Turkish Airlines to open regular flights to Istanbul, this may be facilitated by the "open skies" regime that operates at the airport.

Khrabrovo noted that it is not only "about the accessibility of Istanbul as a tourist destination, but also a business route." The press service added that during the tourist season, charter flights to Antalya are operated by AnadoluJet, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. "But we want Turkey to be available for Kaliningrad residents to fly from Kaliningrad not only in summer, but also in winter. And not only Antalya, but also Istanbul," the press service said.
