The tourist cluster will be built on the site of the air terminal in Khabarovsk

In Khabarovsk, the old terminal of the international airport will be turned into a tourist cluster. The project was named Air city. According to preliminary data, a cultural and entertainment center with an extensive infrastructure will appear on the basis of the terminal. There is also a hotel and exhibition complex, as well as a business center.

Representatives of the regional tourism business became interested in possible prospects. Now the strategy and subject matter are being thought out. Full-fledged work on the project is expected to begin in 2024.

The complex can accommodate up to 350 people. It will have 204 rooms and a conference hall with a total area of 300 sq. m.

In early September, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the need to develop a comprehensive plan for the development of cities and green projects in the Far East. He noted that in total, large-scale renovation programs should cover 25 Far Eastern cities.
