The reconstruction of the Roshchino airport in Tyumen was estimated at 8 billion rubles

The authorities of the Tyumen Region have planned a large-scale reconstruction of the Roshchino International Airport. The contractor will be selected on November 2. The contract value is about 8 billion rubles.

The work is scheduled to be completed on October 31, 2026, writes megatyumen.ru with reference to the regional Department of Economics.

In 2021, Roshchino Airport served about 2 million people and transported more than 3 thousand tons of cargo.

Earlier, the authorities of the Tyumen region announced the need to find a new investor for the construction of a hotel at the airport of Roshchino. At the end of March, the Hilton hotel chain announced its withdrawal from Russia, but the construction project has already been approved. The construction of the hotel was estimated at 900 million rubles, but now the prices may be different.
