The railway will appear at Simferopol airport in 2024

The head of Crimea Sergey Aksenov announced a project to build a 14 km long railway line to Simferopol Airport.

"We will make a railway, we need it 100%. It will increase the speed and quality of service, delivery of passengers to their destination. In principle, the project will be implemented. Most likely, the project will be implemented next year," Aksenov said.

The head of the Crimea clarified that "there will be a branch line to Simferopol and Sevastopol, the principle of Aeroexpress, when a passenger has to get from Sevastopol to the airport in 40 minutes."
