The first apron electric bus will appear at Pulkovo airport
St. Petersburg International Airport announces the launch of the first apron electric bus manufactured by the Republic of Belarus not only in Russia, but also in the world. Its capacity is about 100 people, without recharging it can travel about 80 km to deliver passengers from the terminal to the plane ramp.
"This is the first prototype. Initially, this body was used with a diesel engine, this year we redesigned it and installed an electric motor with traction batteries, the minimum autonomous travel of this car is from 80 km with the possibility of doubling the battery. The passenger capacity is about 100 people, including 14 seats," said the head of the electric transport department of JSC "MAZ" (the management company of the holding "Belavtomaz") Nikolay Danilenko.
