Kazan Airport will become one of the base airports of NordWind Airlines

The NorthWind Airlines plans to base several aircrafts at Kazan International Airport. It is assumed that already in the upcoming winter season there will be at least three planes in Tatarstan, the airport's general director Sergey Romantsov said.

"[There will be] a certain transfer hub, where some flights will dock with others, directly in Kazan. Several aircraft of the airline "NorthWind" will be stationed here. <...> This will already start with the winter schedule, then a gradual increase in the summer schedule. In general, our program is designed for three seasons, until 2024," Romantsev said, adding that at least three of the company's aircraft will be based at the airport in winter.

In the summer schedule of 2023, passengers will expect new flights from Kazan to Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Simferopol, Anapa, Rostov-on-Don, Yakutsk, Kemerovo, Gorno-Altaysk and Vladikavkaz.
