A Russian man with drones in his luggage was detained at Tromso airport

Norwegian media reported that the police detained a Russian with drones in his luggage at the Norwegian Tromso airport.

It is clarified that the 51-year-old Russian, in addition to surveillance devices, also had memory cards for them and a passport in the name of an Israeli citizen in his luggage. The camera of one of the drones also allegedly contained footage from the airport in Kirkenes and pictures of a Bell model helicopter of the Norwegian Armed Forces.

The man stated that he was on a work trip and that he took photos for personal purposes.
