S7 allowed the crew to get a tattoo
One of the largest Russian airlines, S7 Airlines, was the first in the country to allow crew members to wear tattoos and non-standard hairstyles.
Captains, stewards and flight attendants can now have tattoos on exposed body parts, wear beards or brightly dyed hair.
"We support the freedom of self-expression of colleagues and are confident that the professional qualities of employees do not depend on the presence of tattoos or hair color. If an individual style does not prevent a person from doing his job 100% and ensuring safety on board, there is no reason to carefully preserve outdated traditions," S7 Airlines noted.
