China Eastern Airlines received the first C-919

According to the Xinhua News Agency, China Eastern Airlines has received the first domestic-designed mainline airliner on the Chinese market, the C-919.

The cabin of the new aircraft with the tail number B-919A is designed for 164 passengers and is divided into economy and business classes. On December 9, 2022, he flew between Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao airports.

The new airliner will be put into commercial operation in the spring of 2023 after passing trial flights between Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and other cities, the total flight time between which will be at least one hundred hours.
