C-919 has started regular flights

The new passenger liner manufactured by China COMAC C-919 has started performing commercial scheduled flights. Flights are operated on the routes of the Chinese airline China Eastern Airlines.

The launch flight for operation of the C-919 under the number MU-9191 from Shanghai to Beijing took place on May 28, 2023. The flight was performed by an airliner with the tail number B-919A. This is the first C-919 in the fleet of the Chinese carrier, transferred by the manufacturer in December 2022. The B-919A accommodates 164 passengers - 8 seats are located in business class and 156 seats in economy class.
