A passenger plane crashed in Nepal

A plane carrying 68 passengers and four crew members crashed on the runway of Pokhara International Airport in Nepal.

Rescue work is currently underway. The turboprop passenger ATR 72, owned by Yeti Airlines, was flying to Pokhara from Kathmandu.

"According to preliminary information, there were four Russians on board this plane. The Embassy is investigating the circumstances of the incident and the fate of Russian citizens," the Russian Embassy in Nepal reports.
